My 2005 Silverado with a 5.3 V8 with a positive displacement supercharger putting out 500+ HP. K&N cold air intake. 37's sitting on King 2.5's with bypasses. Method Rims. 37" BFG AT Tires. Camburg LT kit. Bed is tubed and running 20"+ of clearance. 2 x 40 inch LED light bars. Fiberwerx fiberglass panels. Built 4L60E transmission. 9 inch rear end that's spooled.

Currently getting 4 x Mastercraft 3G seats put in with 3" mastercraft 5 pt harnesses with pads. Throwing a Smittybilt one piece welded rack on top. 4 way helmet coms via Sena SMH10 bluetooth headsets.

The truck is in the shop getting the cab caged now.  To the frame of course and connecting the cab cage to the bed tubing.  The CAD drawing didn't have the V bar or dash but but I added those and never got an updated CAD drawing.

I live 30 minutes from Baja and 1:30 from the Dez so it gets a good regular beating

Some additional roof tubing is in and the outer frame tubing. There will be 4 more diagonal bars put in the roof making an asterisk shape *

They made some good progress from 1.5 weeks ago when the Vbar had just gone in.

This is them welding the cage to the frame. Had to plate the frame before welding the cage to it.

Here is the view in from the back right crew cab door. The entire cab has been boxed in now with the cage. Side door support/safety door bar is in.

Been a few days so I went down and checked things out.

They got the seat tubes in. I'm 6'7 so they had to cut through the floorboards to get the tubing through. If they didn't do this my head/helmet would be extremely close to the roof tubing and nobody wants their head smashed against 1.75 chomoly at high speeds.

Sheet metal will go over the exposed tubing that is exposed below the floorboards

Got the quick release wheel in with com buttons. Everything is dirty/dusty from all the work going on in the shop.

Pulling the old radiator out and putting in a big boy. Gotta keep the beast cool while blazing the dez.

My baby is looking naked without her fiberglass!

Front windshield and back window are out so all of the tubes can get 360 welded and then I can get the roof and tubes painted. We'll be using an automotive acrylic enamel primer color matched to the dash color.

Passenger side door safety tubing is in and 2 of the roof diagonal support bars are in.

You can see the seat mount tubing here below the door safety bar. I have the seats being mounted with a 1 inch lean back to put your ass more in the back of the seat. Gets my head down lower too.

Roof Bars and mid cab support tubes going in. The 5 pt harnesses will be attached to these behind the 2 front seats.

Cool thing about having to run the front seat tubing under the floor boards is that it puts the front seats super low. Because of this I put the back seats up about 3-4 inches so the back seat riders can have a better view. The 2 front seats are 2" wider than a stock Mastercraft 3G seat so bigger/taller peeps up front and smaller peeps in the back.

Works out well since I'm 6'7 and my wife is 4'11. :)
