24v Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 I don't know anything about your supercharger kit, but I would assume it uses an air to water intercooler setup? If so, have you verified it is full of fluid, and that it's radiator is clean and clear of debris? Is the electric water pump for that system working?

Quite confident that the first two points you mentioned have a “check” against them, however the electric water pump, that I’m not sure of. Any idea how I can check of it’s health and functioning?

Jon A Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 (edited) If the cooling is not as good as before, it does suggest something has changed. As others have said, check for gunk in the radiator/condenser/intercooler and verify your electric pump for the IC is working correctly. That said, you will see huge improvements with a couple of simple changes--change your engine thermostat to a 180 or cooler (even a 160 in your situation would be fine) and tell your programmer to do this with your fans: These trucks have good cooling systems, but they purposely are not "turned on" by GM until temps are pretty high for emissions purposes. In your ambient temps, with a blower, it's silly to try and live with the small margin for error the factory gives you. Those two changes alone should give you big improvements as long as you find/fix anything mentioned above. Edited June 10, 2018 by Jon A
