New wheel/tire offset question by newbie

Hello... I'm a new signup, and new to truck ownership. I have a dilemma about new wheel purchase and tire size. Hoping someone can help.

I have done a lot of reading and research. I want to achieve a new wheel/tire setup for my 2017 Silverado 2500HD. I'd like to have a semi aggressive stance (about 1" out from fender). I am in contact with a sales person at customoffsets dot com.

With all that I have learned so far, it seems to me that I would like to upgrade wheels to 20x9  -12 offset, and put on some AT 285/60/20s. I am hoping for no trimming, and I believe the truck has a lift. Not positive because I don't know what to look for.

Can anyone advise me further? Attaching pic of my truck. Thank you.

So here is my 2017. -15 20x9 with 295/60-20. I rubbed. I pushed my front bumper out 5/8” with spacer mod.

My tires physically measure 35x12.5

Make sure you order borla wheel spacers, They are the best. Believe me I ordered 2 different set's of different brands and had trouble out of both. A friend told me to get a set of borlas and am very pleased with them, haven't had any problems with them.make sure you get lug and hub centric.

Nice Ride!! Looks great. My new tires would be 33 x 11.2. Maybe I could get away with that, no mods?

Congrats on the new truck!

It looks just like mine - mine's a 4x4.

Looks stock to me - no lift on it now, at least that's my humble opinion from the picture.

Here's what I've learned so far, the 17" wheels we have on our trucks are weenie's. I wish I could get bigger but that will have to wait.

I am going to get a Zone 3" adventure series lift with upper control arms and fox shocks (i've been told you can upgrade from the Zone shocks) This lift is really an upgraded level kit. I am going with it just to get a little lift and a beefier stance.

Not sure yet but I might need spacers on the rear as I am learning that with the new UCAs it might push the fronts out a little, which is ok with me but I don't want them sticking out too far as it will thrown dirt all over my truck like my dodge did.

Good Luck and enjoy!
