My son driving a new 18 Silverado ...this should be good

Sunday I get a call from my son that the tire that came off a vehicle driving the opposite way, slammed the front drivers side of his 13 Cruze. Luckily no one was hurt, but the Cruze.

Today the Chevy dealership gave him his loaner, a new 2018 Silverado DC. He's never even driven my truck or any others, but that is all the had for him ...should be interesting LOL

Glad he is ok. I wonder if he is going to fall in love with the truck and want to do a trade! Maybe that was the dealer's thought process all along haha

Yep, glad he's fine & it just damaged the car. I've seen many cases where runaway wheels have caused horrific incidents.

 

He might develope a liking for that truck though

He said the truck was not as intimidating as he thought it would be, loves the ride, but not the gas mileage Vs the Cruze
