truck has a 1.25in spacer on the leafs and I couldn't figure where to look under neath on the front end but it does look higher in the rear than the front? so idk what lifts on it now, and these tires which I measured 31.5in as they are now (probably 32in when new) no rubbing issues, would like to jump to 33's and get new wheels as well but not sure what the offset is on the current wheels. I know the negative offset means its sticks outside further and positive offset is the tire sticking more inside, what is oem offset on these? These are cheap wheels I cant find online to find their offset. its a Vtec something

heres what im thinking of getting, I think the wheel fitment on my current setup is perfect, doesn't stick out from body at all.

The offset should be on the inside of your wheel. I’ve got a billet aluminum 2.25” level up front with 1” added in rear. My front level consists of one on the upper strut and one underneath the strut. My wheel setup is a plus 18 cause I don’t like tires sticking out from my fenders. Most wheels come from factory on the new trucks with a plus 24.

thanks, turns out its ET25 and with the wheel at max turn I have about 10mm of clearance the control arm off the middle of sidewall on these tires and 8in wheels.

If I jump to 8.5in wheels w same et25 its gonna push that 10mm gap closed all the way so id have to go to like a 12 offset to run a .5in wider wheel w the same tire to be at the same clearance or better.

I guess the real question now is, going from a et25 and 8in wide, does increasing width split the difference and going from 8-9in would extend the rim lip half an in on both sides or will it extend the rim randomly or all inside? if I go an in wider then id need to lose an entire 25mm from the offset if thats the case???

Highly recommend you go to a Discount Tire or other tire and wheel experts. This is one of those see/touch situations that I highly recommend caution taking advise from online conversations especially cause it’s your dime.

The 1.25” blocks are factory. Judging by the rake the truck has, I would say it has no lift on it. Your 285/70/17 tires spec out at around 32.5” new.

Wheel offset is from the center line of the wheel’s width. Changing to a 1” wider wheel with the same offset adds 1/2” to both the inside edge and outside edge.

This was my ‘08 with 2” of lift in the front and 275/65/18 (32x11) on 18x9 w/ +12 offset. The tires rubbed on the inner fender retainer pins at the back of the front fenders due to the offset even though the tires didn’t stick out past the fenders.
