Aftermarket heated cooled seats

Looking for some someone who may have done the mod on their truck. I've got a 2015 LT2 Z71 4x4 Crew Cab with cloth seats. I'm looking to add heated and cooled (vented) seats and swap to leather. I'm looking at katzkin for the leather seats.

What have others used for the heating / cooling? Not sure which to choose. LeatherSeats.com has a TEM option that seems like a good one.

Also, I'd really like to swap the trim on the control panel out for the stock trim with the heated cooled buttons and type the aftermarket switch into the OEM switch. Has anyone done this?

I have heated/cooled Katzkin's in my regular cab, the leather is really nice, looks OEM, heat works good, cooling blows air cant say it cools that great but i have never experienced stock cooled seats so I couldn't compare.

Over all I love mine.

My wife has factory cooled seats in her 2016 Exploerer. They are ok and I'd be ok with that level of cooling. Better than nothing.

 

What did you for heated and cooled seats? And what color did you get on the leather seats?

 

I'm thinking I'm pretty much going with katzkin and leather seats for the heating cooling. My last thing is how i can get this installed with the factory buttons on the dash. How did you install the buttons?

It’s not a easy install from what I read in older threads on this. A lot of wiring and modules I believe. I think Pgamboa finally got it working though. There is a thread on the whole process he took as well. But I know it wasn’t as easy as plug and play.
