2017 6.2 8spd transmission problems

I've got a 2017 Silverado High Country with the 6.2 and 8 speed, with about 17,500 miles on it.  A few thousand miles ago it developed a shudder while going down the highway.  The tach would surge a couple hundred RPMs and the steering wheel would shake for a second, sort of as if you were running over rumble strips, then stop.  Then the process would repeat itself over and over.  It only did it the one time, but then as weeks went on it started doing it everyday.  I took it into the dealer and they said they could not duplicate.  I went back to the dealer, took the service advisor for a drive, and he immediately noticed it.  It had gotten bad enough that the shudder could be felt while working up through the gears, and anytime where it was holding a gear, light throttle, going up a mild grade.  So, back into the shop, and they replaced the fluid and filter (nowhere did the papers mention a flush).  I picked up the truck, and as soon as I got up to about 45mph the shudder was there.  I called the dealer and they made me another appointment (for a week later).  So, back into the shop, replaced the torque converter, and flushed the system.  The first day after picking it up I didn't notice anything abnormal.  On day two the shudder returned, although maybe 10-25% as severe as it was before the converter replacement.  So, I've made another appointment, with another weeks wait before they can get me in.

At this point I don't really feel the shudder going up through the gears, but if it's holding a constant gear with light throttle, as soon as you go up a small hill it starts.  Also, as before, the problem doesn't seem to appear until the transmission warms up (seems like a fluid temperature of about 115F is where it starts).  I kind of feel at this point that maybe the transmission has a problem (low pressure or inadequate flow to the converter?), and that may be killing the converter.  This will be the forth time in under two months that it will be in the shop for the same problem, and I am getting pretty tired of it.  I saw there was PIP5337 that described a lot of the same things I am experiencing, but Chevrolet tells me that only applies to 2016 and older trucks.

Any thoughts on how to get this remedied?  I like the truck otherwise, but can't keep taking it to the dealer over and over again.   I don't know much about lemon laws but am starting to think it's headed on that direction.

Do a Goggle search for Lemon Law in your state and it should tell you what is needed to meet the requirements. You could also contact a Lemon Law attorney in your area and most get paid as part of the settlement so you would have no out of pocket expense.
