skeeter2 Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 I cannot get the tpms to work like it should on my 09 Suburban, I have had all the wheels checked to make sure it is notthe part inside the wheel. They have been checked by two different tire shops and was told it was the body control module that was causing the problem. Is this correct ?
dsr611 Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 What is the TPMS doing or not doing to cause it to not work like it should?
skeeter2 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 It keeps giving a warning that it is not working on the cluster readout , The others work but it keeps coming back to tmps not working.
2017Darkness Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 More than likely, you need a tpms sensor. If your GM dealer can't do a relearn and it comes back come up, or if the light comes back after a short time, it is almost always the sensor, not the BCM. We don't charge a customer to do a quick relearn. We charge about $100 dollars to replace one, parts and labor.
skeeter2 Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 we did a relearn and it did not take, both tire shops did a relearn and I did replace one of the sensors.
