Vette Servo

OK. Who hre has doen the whole Vette Servo deal?? I am in need of somehting to firm up my 1-2 shift and dont want to resort to a shift kit just yet. I know it isnt her to install at all. I just want some peoples input on how this helped them. The servo is only 15-20 bucks for everything needed to install it.

Well, I had it bookmarked but must have deleted it. Anyway, what I had read was from a tranny rebuilder and he had a strong argument AGAINST using the corvette servo.

I'll do some checking and see if I can find it again.

I did, 12K later, no problems and she runs cooler than a cucumber, unlike what that article says would happen.

Ive got something called a rocket launcher servo on my 2 door tahoe, it is supposed to be a lot firmer than the corvette, that coupled with my hypertech programmer will just bout snap ur neck into on the 1-2 shift at full throttle and no problems thus far.

Ok. Well I kinda snuk over to LS1Tech and chatted with SmokUr5.0. He has them in his 03 Rado and tuned things up with Edit. He hasnt had any problems. I ordered the Vette Servo from KDS Performance. $15 bucks aint too bad. Trans-go will be next.

Instead of getting the corvette servo...go with the super servo instead. Its about 60 dollars and it'll help out alot more than the corvette servo. After putting it in, you may decide you don't even want to do a valve bdoy shift kit
