2014 Chevy 1500 wheels and tires upgrade.

Recommended Posts

I have a 2014 Chevy 1500 with a 2” Motofab level kit. I’m looking to install 275/55R20 A/T tires with 20X12 with a -51 offset.

My Queation is what do you all think about it? Would it cause problems due to the fact it’s such a wide stance? Would it rub and need some trimming?

Not really sure so any response helps! Thanks y’all!

You may need some trimming. My brother has a similar offset with 20x12 rims and had to remove the lower lance and still rub on full lock. He lifted his truck, so doesn’t have that much of a issue now.

He has a 2014 1500, which is the same as a 2014. GL.

I'm running a 18x10 -24 with 275 70. I rub at full lock in drive and about 3/4 turn in reverse with no trimming. I've seen 12s done but it requires a norcal mod to work. f0248e2da5734ba3aef49b9b5ccdbdcf.jpg

If you are just gonna level it on 20x12 I would try like a 305/50. I have a 2.5 level on 20x10 -24 offset and running 305/55 (33/12.50) and I had to push back the inner liners and hit the inner fender to keep from rubbing at full lock.ede06ce7295a304b677d2b4de7bd6e00.jpg27aaecaa2b43e454167beddcae4a6276.jpg
