I am deciding between 2 vehicles gmc Denali and AT4.

I like the look of the denali but the at4 comes with most of the options and has the lift for 5k less.  My wife is very short and will need the assist steps. I dont like the tube options. I wanted to go with the retractable steps that are on the denali. You can not order it with them for the factory. Does anybody know if the wire harnessed on the at4 will accommodate power steps?

Might have more luck posting in the 2019 section.  I highly doubt the AT4 harness will accommodate power steps.  Might have to get a set of amp steps.

I believe their similar to the 18 Denali ones which have been fitted on 16-18 base model/ higher up crew cabs through using the upfitter catalog. If anything my guess the At4 would have a pin out for GM lan & running board disable on the fuse block where you could tap into but would not have the same body harness as the Denali where the boards link up on the side of the frame. So essentially you might be able to retrofit them similar to others have done on the forum here. Truck is so new im sure theirs not much out on it, but comes down to how much you want them and if it can be done reasonable. My advice would be to pickup the Denali and work your way down to the look you want. Lot of the Denali parts have high resale!

I found a denali and the At4 dealership. After crawling around on the ground I found out they have 2 separate wire harness and it will not accommodate the denali steps easily. I did not know about Amp steps. Which are a option but more expensive anyone have a price for them installed?

I believe Phil Gamboa has a wiring harness that will allow you to install the Tri Mode power steps on a vehicle that did not come with them. There is a Youtube video of him doing so here. I have a pair I may decide to sell so PM me if you are interested.

I thought this was for a 2018, not 2019. Disregard my previous comment
