Plastic cover removal

I am installing shorty headers on my 2018 Silverado. How do you remove the plastic covers that cover the coil packs?

Remove oil fill cap and gently pull up. Then remove small screw holding down the oil dip stick. Gently pull up and turn side to side to get it to release. Undo 3 each bolts under truck that mount exhaust to manifold. You can remove y pipe in whole or fight the manifolds out the bottom. I use factory gaskets with copper rvt. Spec said 11ft pounds but it also says new bolts if I remember right. The short tube header can be installed from the top.

oh and spark plug wires need to come off and now would be a good time to check/replace plugs. 

What year truck and motor size? And what brand headers?
