Lowering 2017 Silverado W/O flip

I currently have my truck sitting at 3" lowered in the rear - removed factory blocks and installed belltech 2" lowering shackles. I am wanting to go lower and was exploring all options. I am thinking 2/4 or 3/5 and realize both require the flip kit in the rear. Can anyone confirm that the 2" lowering spindles from Belltech will be fine with 17" factory GM wheels and there is no minor trimming of anything necessary up front?

You have a 17 which tells me you have stamped steel.  Pretty sure they fit but itl be close. And youll need to trim the lower ball joint stud.  Dont quote me on this.  Some have fit 17s and some havent

I just ordered the Belltech 2/4 lowering kit with the spindles up front. I was told by the team at Belltech (KW Automotive) that they test with the factory 17" wheels so there is no trimming necessary. There is only one way to find out at this point - I will post pics once the install is completed.

I plan to scoop a set of GM 20's one of these days, but for now I plan to run the 17's.

Yoy should be more than fine. 15 should have cast arms. I had 17s on my 16 with cast arms. I went mcg though because i went over 4" belltech spindles run into alignment issues at about 4" or more

Yea can't wait. It was either Belltech or McGaughys both seem legit. Hoping I will not have any driveline vibrations. They told me every truck is different and it may require a 2 degree or 3 degree shim to correct pinion angle, but again once installed I will be able to determine all this for myself.

Kit may come with a tranny shim that goes under the rear of the transmission. Works great til you go over 7'' in the rear.

Lowering kit installed. 2/4 Belltech. I have some minor adjustments to make like adjusting the tail pipe as it comes in contact with the flipped leaf spring near the rear.
