I have a 2017 Colorado with the LT , Midnight, premium stereo with nav  , etc . I have also just purchased a 2019 Silverado LTZ, Z51 with upgraded stereo with nav.. I looked at the display in the '17 and the music info on XM has the channel on top in bold white and the artist and song information beneath it in a bold teal color. This color is also used for time and temp so it can be seen at a quick glance.  On my '19, the XM channel is still bold white font, but the artist and song as well as the time and temp are a very thin typeface and a greyish color.... it is almost indistinguishable as to artist and song during the day when sunny...cannot figure why they would make the readout on the new improved infotainment system so terrible after having the older  generation so user friendly..I will try to post pictures tomorrow..OR am I missing a customization on my new unit? Thanks.

Agreed, the screen display colors are terrible.  And lack of a dedicated camera button or at least screen icon across the bottom compounds the awful UI on this vehicle.  Not sure what GM is thinking.  Seems like they're following what Microsoft does.

Let me add ...  on the first "home" screen, on XM, GM put the title but not the artist.

 

All that real estate and they left out 50% of the relevant information.  

 

Boggles the mind.
