Buying a used 2016 sierra HD

So I'm looking at buying a used 2016 crew cab 2500HD! My thoughts are what's the difference between the 2016 on up and what's the difference in them other than the bells and whistles, more on the lines of capabilities?

Can't speak to the OP,  but I never got my 2500HD for towing. I got it for hauling more than a 1500 could, among other things.  Towing is secondary at best.  But it would help if we knew what he had in mind.
