Crash avoidance goes nuts

Recommended Posts

If it is freezing outside and the wash water froze on the sensor face, you will get the Parking Sensor errors. I have tried to wipe them off after the wash with some success. I took a heat gun

out to warm the sensors and that seemed to work. Any material on your front camera in the grill or on the windshield near the rearview mirror camera will be a problem also.

I trade nearly every year, none of the past trucks, Fords and 17 Titan, had issues at the car wash. Water is getting into something. Just a couple weeks ago, we were driving while raining splashing threw puddles and the thing went nuts. Alarms on all front sensors.  Four trips to the dealer, all updates and now I get, “park assist off” message.
