I was wondering if you lower the tailgate with the step down and a trailer hitch in the receiver. Will the step hit the trailer hitch and dent the tailgate.

First off the answer is no !!!!!!! Those pro 3 gates gmc is 1 inch short then silverado.....the pro 3 gate has extra wires in different locations then the original....harness is missing 2 wires. ...so you would have to change the truck harness and then reprogram the body control module and gm wont allow that...and if you got control module from a pro3 gate other options probley wont work because of programming that GM wont allow because of vin not matching....

Because he wants too. No seriously I wouldn't mind having that myself but I don't think it will fit without serious modifications. I swapped out my SLT's stock gauge cluster with the Denali cluster because it just looks better (to me) and has some really nice configurations.

Hey, when you did this was it just plug and play? just simply replace it and the controls and every thing work fine? or was there any other modifications that had to be done to make it work???

You need to get your trucks VIN programmed to the new cluster which can be done by White Automotive & Media Service. Other than that, It's plug and play if I remember correctly. There are a couple of forums that dig into the details and tell you exactly which part number dash you need.
