Has anyone had a problem with thier 2019 Sierra Denali not wanting to start? Battery connections are good and Fob is good. Wondering if there is a lock out feature and and certain sequence you have to do to crank it. I got it cranked but not sure what I did

Basically you sit in your truck, place foot on the brake, FOB in your pocket of in the center console so the reader can read it, you push the start button, it cranks.

Any idea what caused this? If it happens again I’ll try this.

If the vehicle does it again, you should exit the vehicle, lock it and try to remote start it. OR try your other FOB to start your vehicle while you sit in it. I have had the FOB in my pocket, standing outside the vehicle with the door open and tried to start it with one hand on the brake and one on the button. No Go. Once I jumped in, it started.

Was your truck sitting for a long period? I have this problem with my Z06 when it sits for a long time. Have to drive for awhile to recognize the key fob again.

Also had this problem with my XT5. Got in it and wouldn’t start. Just drove it a few hours before. Tried everything nothing worked. Used the 2nd key fob and it started and never did it again. Some type of glitch I guess. Spoke with the dealer and they have no idea. I just told them to note it in my file just in case it happens again.
