When i go to roll down the driver side window it does nothing.. If i hold the switch down sometimes it will click other times it will not do anything? Is this a bad switch or what? If so does anyone have the part number?

Could be bad switch, could be bad motor. My fathers 90' Taurus SHO did same thing, ended up bein' motor. Good Luck.

Does it always do that, or just sometimes? Sometimes the motors will lock up temporarly. Our Contour, and my cousin's Blazer do it all the time.

It will do it one day and then the next day it will work.. Its been about 3 months since it did it last time.. did it this morning.. then it started working.. well this afternoon did it again and it still isnt working

It is probably the motors locking up. My cousin's '98 Blazer does it a lot. If it doesn't go up after a while, pop the door panel and give it a tap with a screw driver. That seems to work with the Blazer.

This same thing happened to the passenger side on my '91 Chevy Truck. It ended up being a wire was working loose and sometimes did not make contact. Take the door panel off and check the wires, if thats not it, then its probably the motor going bad. When my driver side motor went out I got a lifetime warranty replacement from Advance Auto Parts for $48.00, not too bad.
