Reciever Hitch Bolts

I got a deal on a draw-tite receiver hitch(5000#), but problem is no hardware came with it. Any one know where I can get the right mounting hardware or what size bolts are needed for it? 2001 Chevy Silvarado 1500, std cab, short bed

I'd use Grade 8 bolts... however I don't know what size they are because my truck already had the hitch from the factory.

 

You might be able to dig up some info at the draw-tite website.

If there are existing holes in the frame & the receiver is similar to the OEM one, you'll need metric bolts. Grade 5, 8 etc doesn't apply to metric bolts. There are different grades of metric bolts though. You'll see 8.8 & 10.8 on the heads. 10.8 is a stronger bolt.
