2001 Silverado 2500HD - 18 in wheel rub

I have some aftermarket 18 inch wheels on now that are rubbing the plastic piece under my front bumper, anyone have a good way to handle this?  Don't think it would look very good to trim this off, but if I don't do something it is going to rip it right off!   thanks...

literally 1000's of these have been trimmed with a Sawzall!  Many like myself have removed the lower portion due to it being partially ripped off the first time you leave the dealers lot.

Yup - definitely had over thought that one.  10 seconds with tin snips and it looks perfect.   Thanks for the reply though....
