Cruise Control

It seems like every time the key is cycled, the cruise control system turns itself off.  That means you have to press cruise and then set to start it during the next drive.

 

Is there any way to make the cruise system stay on across key cycles?

Mine stays on between key cycles.  All I have to do is hit the set button when I'm at the speed I want.

Strange.....I may need to play with this one a bit more.  I noticed on the way to work today it stayed on, but I could swear that it didn't before that.

 

Maybe it's something like if you go a drive cycle without using cruise then it disables?  I guess we table this one for now until I can find a pattern.

I'm going to ask. Does it really matter. I mean it takes .5 sec to hit the cruise then when get to speed hit the set button

Mine also remembers the setting and I don't have to turn on cruise,  just hit the set.      No it doesn't really matter, but I can imagine that it would get annoying, especially if you know it works on other peoples vehicles.  Might just be a setting somewhere.
