Dash lights staying on

My 2016 Silverado dash lights staying on

Any other lights staying on, is it draining your battery overnight?

It's just lights on the headlight,4x4 knobs and the heat/ac buttons.  I just noticed it last night

Describe how long they are staying on.

 

They come on when you open the door, while running, and will stay on until you open the drivers door with the key out (engine not running).

They stayed on all night....key out not running......they went off once it got daylight

I went in my setings and set the light timer to zero....guy at dealership said his son had the same problem and that fixed it.

The timer that you set is for the exterior lights, not interior, they just fade to "nothing" along with your dome light when it is dark out.

 

Don't think there is a way to over ride this feature.

 

Have you looked inside of the truck from the outside (hope that makes sense) to see if they are off at night?

Try this, not sure if you have the ability to check for codes or not:

 

Pulled codes and got this, B2615-passenger compartment dimming #2 circuit malfunction. So I tried opening the passenger door also as someone else suggested and it worked. The dash lights cancelled out. Not a solution to a fix, but a lead.
