Painting or powder coating the suspension

So I orders a BDS 4inch suspension for my truck. I should get it soon. I was thinking of painting it or powder coating it red. What does everything think? Any pro or cons with either process? Currently my truck is that metallic grey with black trim (Plasti painted them). I could just leave them black and have a totally black truck or add a little red to the mix.

If you plan on actually driving this truck after the lift and if it was me I would do powder. It will hold up better in the long run. If your painting it yourself and don’t mind touching it up a couple times a year then go paint. Otherwise the price difference between the two paying someone else to do it is minimal.

I was thinking of doing the shocks and springs as well but was worried about the heat in backing them and long term impact.

If money isn't a problem and you can get the colors you want, powder coating is by far the superior product. If I could powder coat my entire truck I would.
