Electrical Gremlins 2007 GMC Sierra, new cluster, dash lights lit up, no start

Help please!!   I've got $1,300 invested already in diag time and a new cluster - got it back from the shop and it only made it 24 hours.  Still have dash lights lit up and it won't start.  What would be the next thing to check?  I'm at my wit's end!!

Ignition starter switch , mounted in the column. Key cylinder engages the switch and rotates it. Plastic gear and you might have worn or lost a tooth.
