Question

Hey I'm having issues with my 2002 chevy 2500hd 8.1. The turn signals work fine until you push the brakes. when the brake is pushed It flashes like there is a bulb out. It returns to normal after brake is released. That is only with the tail lights. But when the lights come on no turn signal front or back or brake light work..... any suggestions?

I'd clean up the ground wires and power wires (if they look crappy) for the rears. Sounds like you've got a high voltage ground due to a bad connection. It can handle the running lights, but not the higher amperage brake lights.

And when you take any bulbs out, check the filaments in them and make sure one isn't broken and fallen across the other filament.

SOLVED! Ya it was just a ground. I didnt realize I missed it when I replaced my fuel pump. It must of grounded on something until recently but i found it bolted it down now everything works great! Thanks!
