Navigation upgrade

Tried to upgrade from 7 inch screen to 8 inch and add navigation. Ordered the screen and radio control but the plugins were different on the screen.

I have a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation. My radio control has one control knob and the new one has two knobs. I wanted to make sure the screen worked before I ordered the HMI module, anyone else have this problem?

I have a 2018 Silverado Custom, and wanted to add the cd player to the 7" screen.  Not sure if it is even possible, or if the wiring is there behind the dash.

I found this to be a very costly fix. MVI makes a harness wire to convert this from 7 inch to 8 inch, the harness Plus reprogramming is nearly $700.00.

This, plus the cost of the 8 inch screen and the HMI module puts this conversion and programming of the HMI module puts this in the excess of $2000.00.

I found the same, so i passed on the upgrade.
