do y’all hear weird noise when cranking

just wondering do y’all hear any weird noises when y’all first start y’all trucks? cold start or warm, just wondering first time owning a 5.3 and wondering this night turn on my truck (cold start) during the crank i hear what i would best describe as a piece of metal hitting together and dropping to the floor, Lol yeah hard to explain. but i know the engine gets most it wear during first starting it up so could be no biggy just a huge hypochondriac lol.

The oil pumps like to make a weird noise on first starts depending how cold it is or how the truck was parked. It's a common noise and not an issue. I'm sure there are tons of youtube video's on it and forum posts but I can't really type the sound it makes lol.

Lol yeah really cold start to use is morning when it’s 70 ( if we lucky) got the exhaust smoke coming out like it’s 50 we get in the winter lol.. glad however, atleast rust is something we don’t really gotta worry about..
