Removers

Anyone know of a silicon sealer remover?? I sealed up the weatherstripping on my winshield and by accident left some on the windshield. I tried acetone but that didn't work?? Thanks in advance

Have you tried scraping it off with a razor blade? As much as I hate to say it...try dampening a rag with gas and try that...

I tried an ice scraper thing but I stopped because I was afraid of scraping the windshield. I will try a razor blade when I get home but I would like to use a remover without the chance of scraping the windshield.

Already tried that stuff, looking for something stronger. Thanks for the reply though.
