Tyrkak Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 New to forum, sorry if this is listed somewhere else. I just bought a 2019 Silverado 1500 Trail Boss LT Crew Cab. Started having issues with my parking sensors turning off and giving me an error message each time I turned the truck on. Took it to the dealer and they figured out it was the right front sensor but it wasn't covered under warranty because it has a dent in it. Looks like a rock must of hit it dead on while I was driving on the Highway... they wanted $500 to fix it... needless to say I said no thanks I can fix it. I ordered the replacement sensor and had a buddy paint it to match the bumper but that's where I am running into an issue... the middle two sensors on my trail boss are easy to get to, you can just look under the truck and see them in the back of the bumper... but the front two side ones are more complicated. I need to change out the front right now and can't get to .. there are support brackets and what looks other bumper brackets at the sides... I have spent a couple of hours on it and can't figure out which brackets I need to remove to get to it... starting to think the whole bumper needs to come off. Has anyone had to switch out one of the front parking sensors that are located on the sides? Let me know if pictures help of the supports that I mentioned above.
Tyrkak Posted July 8, 2019 Author Posted July 8, 2019 Checking to see if anyone had run into this issue?

Thomas Weiman Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 I am have the same problem on my Silverado LTZ 2019 . Rock hit right front sensor can find no way to remove sensor without removing the complete bumper assembly. This is just wrong, chevy want approx.$ 500.00 to replace a $ 54.00 item.

My sensors were acting up and the Tech said he would try to replace the bad one but could not get at it without removing the bumper. I said to wait and in the long run it corrected itself. So you are probably right about having to remove a bunch of stuff.
[email protected] Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 I am having issues on my 21' TrailBoss....my sensors will randomly go off while driving saying REAR SENSORS OFF/PARKING SENSORS OFF.....I'll back into a spot, and the cluster gauge won't turn on, and then it will...totally random at times.....Has anyone else had issues with theirs turning off at all random times? The dealer initially said it was b/c I have the oil rust inhibitor sprayed and now they are saying it is b/c I put in LED Reverse Lights, LED license plate lights and LED turn signals.....All of which were installed way before this issue happend...I think the dealer doesn't know and just making up excuses... Thank you.
