I have a 2015 Yukon Denali that I bought used. Since I purchased it last year I have noticed that the rear of the hood seems to let out massive amounts of engine heat. It ALWAYS fogs up my front windshield in the rain and in winter when the windshield is cold. It's quite annoying and some what dangerous in the rain. When I look at the hood closed, it's kind of wide open between the plastic shield that sits under the windshield and the back edge of the hood. I can pretty much get my fingers in the gap. It just seems to me that there should be a seal or gasket that eliminates that gap and keeps the engine heat from escaping and fogging up the windshield. I have searched online looking for diagrams, but there is nothing real good that depicts all the hood parts. I appreciate your help, as this is truly driving me nuts! Maybe if someone can post a picture of the rear of the hood closed, or even the underneath rear of the hood while it's it's opened.
