2018 Traverse Front Brake Recall

After some back and forth arguing with my local dealership where I bought my 2018 Traverse, I finally got them to replace the front brakes. I had gone to the first dealership with the issue, told me they needed to cut the rotor down a bit due to some rust. A few days later the squeaking persisted. Granted we only have 21,000 miles. I ended up going back to the original dealer I bought the Traverse from, they gave me a bit of a hard time about not replacing the front brakes.....yet the guy admits there was a bulletin that the front brake pads originally used were not good. It just bothers me that dealerships will do that, considering I spent nearly $45k a few months after buying this Traverse to get a 2018 Silverado last year. These clowns got a good $90k from me, yet still treat us like crud.

 

I wanted to toss this out to those with a 2018 Traverse that have squeaking brakes and under 20k miles, that it is an issue with the pads that were originally installed.
