Park Assist and adjustable brakes

I just got a 2014 LTZ Silverado in extremely good condition. However the park assist and adjustable pedals don’t work.  I took it back to the dealer and they said the truck does not have those that maybe the bumper was replaced and the buttons put on as replacements but could not tell if that ever happens.  However, the buttons are there and in the information system it has the parking assist where it can be turned on and off.   If the truck didn’t have it it would not give the ability to turn it on and off correct?   Also if the pedals aren’t working is it true it could interfere with park assist?  Where do I do from here?

Lookup the vin for the options or look up the codes in the glove box, it has to show the parking sensors option somewhere

.02 Motorized pedals have nothing to do with the park assist.

If like the '16 and it is supposed to have park assist and active sensors not in the bumper the defeat button on the dash or console will light up and the display will give an error message every time you start the truck, annoyed the crap out of me. The manual defeat button is to turn it off when trailering or riding with the gate down

Easy enough to see if it has power pedals, look under the dash , if so both the accelerator and brake pedal are mounted on a motorized sub-assembly - if not the accelerator pedal assembly is mounted directly to the firewall.

Most States require a customer disclosure for accident damage and repairs covering the bumper and what else was repaired/replaced.
