Paint detailing.

Hey guys, so I just bought a red 2019 GMC Sierra and I wanted to get your opinion on this.  I didn’t get any of the extra paint protection from the dealer and I wanted to know if any of you would suggest getting the truck detailed and having a good wax done on it?  I want to protect the paint and have it looking good for as long as I can.  I just wanted to know how to start off on the right track from the more experienced guys.

You don't want to PPF your entire truck. That'd cost $2500-$3000. If the front bumper is painted definitely PPF that but ceramic coating the rest should be more than enough. I paid $1050 for a 5 year ceramic coating, paint correction, and PPF on my front bumper. Definitely worth it.

X2 PPF and Ceramic Coating. Considering how much these trucks are, worth the tiny investment to make sure it looks good for years to come.

I use the Klasse twins about once a year and wash it when its really filthy and use ultimate spray wax while drying the car. My last car was dark gray (nearly black) and looked new when I sold it.  I keep my interior clean with Klasse cleaner protectant.

My wifes car gets washed once every 6 months with a wash&wax.  Paint still shines for the 3 days a year its clean, its 10 years old.  The interior of that vehicle gets a bunch of simple green and the shop vac.

The biggest thing, I never take it through a car wash. I'll have a dirty car before I take it through a car wash.
