So im looking for something to run on the truck during winter that's gonna sit under the wheel wells i sold my stock 20's when i bought my methods. So my question is i know they made stock 17" steel wheels for the 16-18 silverado 1500s but there hard to find. Will the previous generation 17's fit the 05-14 or whatever the year is. Thanks in advance

Get spare tires they are cheap. I paid $50 for spare rims and tires with zero miles. At that price you can't go wrong.

I've got 17s on mine for winter, they work perfectly and I run a 265/70/17 

It sits a little lower than my factory 20s but works mint!

But I believe it's 99-current model year steel wheels are the same as long as they're 17" that's the smallest you can run that will clear the factory calipers
