It looks like the Walbro pumps would require a decent amount of modification to make them work in my 2000 Yukon (in tank fuel pump).  They don't have line in/line out and I don't beleive they have a built in float for my fuel guage.  That is in addition to wiring a custom electrical harness or adapters.  I much appreciate the suggestion and chime in though.  I should have emphasized "plug n' play".

They aren't bad to install at all really.  I dropped a 255 lph walbro I had sitting around into my buddies 03 Sierras fuel bucket.  That said it's nice to have it all new.  The last one I bought was a Delphi for my 04 but i modified it a lot and it has 2 450 lph walbro's in it Haha.

I would stay AC Delco or Delphi as well.

How many miles & years are you getting on ONE pump anyways??

Are you replacing the external fuel pump each time too??

I'm about to buy a cheap one now because my assembly rusted away while the motor still sprays throughout that Rusty Port so I'll put away the good motor put in the cheapest fuel pump assembly and if the motor ever blows in the cheap replacement, I can put the factory motor back in there

Yeah dunno what to tell you.  Over 200000 miles and 15 years on my 05s original GM installed pump.  Surprised it hasn't rusted out and started leaking yet but it's good lol.  All I will use for stockish replacements is OEM.

Pretty sure my 07 pump unit I'm replacing because of a rusted out top plate assembly is it's original unit, with over 250,000 on the clock!

Are you running something that would require top Tear gas?

Just making sure you are not running high octane in a stock, unmodified engine.

If you have ignition on listening to radio or what ever the pump is on even though the engine is not running. Since most gm trucks do not have a return line this is hard on pumps
