Just wanted to share my experience when I purchased the ARE "K" Series Cap for my 2003 Silverado 2500HD long bed.

 

I went to R&S Truck Caps to purchase this unit and it was probably one of the best disicions I could have made. Before I get started...I would like to offer my thanks and graditude to Mona, The time and effort you put in to solving these problems kept this a pleasant experience.

 

GM-Trucks Forum was one of several area's I searched before choosing ARE. The wealth of information available here makes this site a valuable tool for research. I prefered the ARE style and was pleased at the positive posts that other people had posted about thier caps.

 

Well...I ordered mine and lets just say the cap was not up to ARE quality standards, but the paint matched my green truck PERFECTLY. ARE was called and they offered to build another cap! Wow, I was impressed. No argueing, just satisfy the customer.

 

The second cap arrived less than 2 weeks later and again the paint matched perfectly. Unfortunately, again this new cap had some quality issues. Mona contacted ARE again and through several negotiations on repairs/fixes and compensation for inconvienences... I am pleased with my OVERALL purchase experience with this product.
