where to find blocks to lift rear of Silverado additional 1"

Recommended Posts

All you need is a 2.5” wide lift block. Nothing special. I’d go steel over aluminum.

However you could also get a www.offroaddesign.com Zero Rate

or a DIY4x EZ Inch.

Both are basically the same thing. A 1 inch block that bolts into the spring pack via a longer center pin. This way it moves with the springs and can’t get chucked out if the U-bolt loosens up or flexes under axle wrap.

Not sure what your OE block height is but my 2018 was 1 1/4”. I to wanted mine lifted additional 1” along with my Bilstein 5100’s. I bought Steel 2” blocks so theoretically I was only getting a 3/4” addition. It was actually installed today and a couple of quick measurements say’s I’m up close to 2” in back. Not sure why, could be that with  block, new Bilstein’s and maybe OE Rancho’s had faded a bit. I couldn’t be happier with the way it all came out though. Front’s were set to highest setting. Definitely higher in back but a decent rake still. So, if it’s a 1 1/4” OE block I’d say a 2” would be good. I looked but never found a 2 1/4” block.
