Random Plug Under Truck

Not sure if I’m in the right section, but while changing the oils a couple weeks ago I found a plug that didn’t have anything plugged into it. It looks like it’s coming from the fuel pump, but I could be wrong. It seems like there would be a dummy plug over it to keep debris from getting in, but again I have no clue.

 

Any thoughts?

It’s for the flex fuel sensor on the E85 trucks. They are just taped to the frame from the factory on non E85 trucks no cap.
