I need help I’m having a clunk when stopping it shift hard when stopping I don’t think it’s the trans because it was rebuilt months ago and a tick when I’m first starting up

Welcome Josh.  Is this a RWD or 4x4?  1500 or 2500?  Have you checked your u-joints?

Check the rear differential for play.
