Front brakes for my truck

Recommended Posts

I have a 1997 chevy 3500 2wd bagged dually and am looking to upgrade the front brakes. Anyone know if any of the aftermarket brakes companys have anything for this cause so far I've been coming up short.

The heavy duty chassis is the draw back.

Your best bet is to just run some of the better parts out there. If there is a slotted rotor option, go with that. Or go with a ultra premium coated rotor with some really nice pads. See if EBC or powerstop makes a good pad for that.

I highly suggest upgrading to braided front brake lines over the stock rubber lines. That alone can help with braking performance if your rubber lines are very old.
