yes, , which is why I want to upgrade to the 6.2 intake pipe, being its a larger version of the 5.3  , get higher flow while retaining the resonator and it's engineered components. .

 

I'm willing to bet the stock 5.3 airbox and pipe, still out flow in CFM' the airflow from the heads. but i have no flow bench or cyl heads to prove this..
