Tweeter400
My local dealer is going to charge me $207 labor to install a new Fuel Pump in my 01 Sierra. Is it worth is or should I try and do it? I wasn't sure how involved it was to do? Thanks!!
MountaineerTom
If you'd like, I could send you a guide that I did for the site here, but hasn't been uploaded yet. It was done on Elwood's '99 S-10 Blazer, but the process would be similar. On a truck, I think it would be easier to remove the bed and work on the fuel pump while the tank is still on the frame, rather than removing the tank. Just let me know (and an e-mail address) and I'll send you the info and pictures.
silverado man
Defenatly it is easier to take off the bed then it is to drop the tank.
