I just recently traded in my old pickup for a 2020 2500hd and drive it from southern Alabama to Denver Colorado and it did great the whole trip. But when I once I started up and down the steep grades it started feeling sluggish. And once I got to my destination I got out and there was steam coming out from under the hood and a strong smell of diesel. It is dripping from under the engine and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what it could possibly be. Any info would be greatly appreciated. It only has 3400 miles on it.

No, but I can recommend several good honest dealers in the Denver area.  What part of Denver are you in?

The smell of diesel may just be the truck having done a DPF regen. It gets very hot and with it being new it will be extra smelly.

Near golden. It only leaks when running. But it just a drip.

Shouldn't be hard for a dealer to find and repair if it leaks enough that you can find a drip.
