Cold Air Induction for TrailBlazer

Is there a CAI kit for the 4.2L engine yet? If so, where would I find one and what horse power gains are expected? I know on my '95 Z28, it made a world of difference. Thanks!

I added the K&N Aircharger Kit to my Envoy. I don't know what the gains are but I did it in concert with the Borla exahust. I do have better off the line acceleration and mid range power. One of these days I am going to have to do some 0-60 runs and see what I am at. Magazines but the triplets with the 4.2L with a 0-60 of 7.7 to 8.1 seconds or so.

 

There are other CAIs out there. I know Volant makes one, and Air Raid.

I added an Airaid Intake system (approx $208.00) to my 2003 Trailblazer. Seems like it has a little stronger acceleration overall and it's might be just a little louder under hard acceleration.......but I think it sounds nice. I'm also getting slightly better gas mileage. Maybe 1-2 mpg better.

 

I'm planning on adding a Borla exhaust in the near future.
