Muffler delete

Has anyone deleted the muffler on a 2014 or newer Silverado or Sierra? Does the flapper need to be deleted as well? What are the issues I might have doing these?

I deleted mine as soon as I got mine home from the dealer. I left my flapper in along with the rear resonator. I ended up wiring my flapper open though since I put a tune in the truck and deactivated the AFM. It’s got a nice rumble to it but almost no drone and still quiet enough to not wake up the neighborhood. I like the sound of it personally.

Do it! I deleted the muffler and flapper. You can hear the tone change when it kicks down into V4, but I don't find it annoying or anything. It's just a lower tone. The sound is similar to installing a mild performance muffler. Not raspy or trashy sounding at all. Smooth rumble and an nice growl when you put your foot in it.
