Speedo issues

Just picked up a 2019 GMC 3500HD yesterday used with12k miles. I noticed the speedo is off by 5 mph at 70 mph. Says 70 while GPS shows 65. Still on the factory original tires. Any ideas or off to the Dealership?

What GPS?

 

Phone based GPS is sketchy some times if you dont hit enough towers.

Most cell phones don't rely on tower data for GPS.

Maybe the original owner had a different wheel/tire set up?

Towers, satellites....

 

Regardless their less than perfect.
