No better place than to post this here to get the most answers, although it might not deserve off topic status...

Id love body colored mirrors and what better way to get them but off of a S-SS?

If theres anyone that has swapped the stocks and wants to sell,

or more likely, if anyone knows if GM has a product number for em id be tickled

This guy sells GM mirror covers in body color. Not all colors are still available from GM, but he has most.

Another option is to remove and paint your chrome covers

I'd be interested, I have searched and searched and only found the number for the entire mirror assembly, not the cover itself

From what I can find out, it looks like GM gets this whole thing as an assembly. I'm looking at the drawing of it, and its all assembled on there, I can see the various parts in the assembly and I'm pretty sure I've figured out which part is the plate that gets painted body color, but the part number for that is not a GM part number, its a different format. I used to work in the same group as the guy who signed off on the drawing, so I'll go see him and ask if that comes in as an assembly or not, but from what I see here it sure looks like it does.

If you do want the number for the whole assembly, let me know, I've got the list of numbers for the whole assembly, based on what color it is.
