I have this problem often, I thought I’d be vaciase I have larger tires and a calibrator to compensate for the large tire size but seems to happen no matter what - I reset the TCM( Transmission control module) and it works great. Sadly only for about a day until it goes back to “it’s normal” - The dealer said this is a fluke in the trans and the rhetoric I captured from them is that I should learn to live with it…

I have the same issue. 2020 6.6 gas, I took it to dealer at about 35,000 miles. Hard down shift when coming to a stop or deccel to make turn. Dealer said it is within normal operating parameters. It is annoying.

I have both issues on my 20 gas hd.   Experienced the first decel/Accel burp under 1k miles, in tow/haul while pulling travel trailer.   Only once in a while since then.

The harsh down shifts from 2 or 3 are either getting more frequent or I'm listening for it more.
