What's causing my electrical issue?

I have a 1991 Chevy k1500 with some electric issues. So the dash lights wont turn on when the head lights turn on(has regular dash not the needleless one)The interior lights don't turn on when the doors open. And when I turn the head lights on the AC interface instead of dimming just shuts off the light. The truck has been sitting for the last ten years and I just got it running again, I'm assuming it's a ground issue but I don't know. Thanks

Well, depending on what conditions the truck was stored under for the last 10 years, it could be anything, from corroded wires and/or connections, to rodents chewing through wires or shitting on the wrong spots, to getting fried from a lightning strike.
